PTFE Enveloped Non Asbestos Gasket

Ginseal, one of the leading PTFE envelope gasket manufacturers from China, has been involved in sealing gasket manufacturing for over 20 years.

Polytetrafluoroethylene envelope gasket, also named PTFE envelope gasket, Teflon envelope gasket, is a non-metallic gasket, generally composed of two parts: the envelope and insert. The envelope layer mainly plays a role in corrosion resistance and usually made of polytetrafluoroethylene. The insert (filler) is a non-metallic sealing material with or without a metal reinforcement layer with good elasticity.

The envelope gasket is divided into V type, U type and L type according to the different inner core structures. Some containers, pipes, and valves in the petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries are often connected with PTFE gaskets to ensure clean materials. PTFE envelope gaskets are widely used in the sealing of various strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidation, chlorine and non-contaminated media

Ginseal PTFE gasket provides excellent sealing in corrosive environments. Combining the low friction and chemical stability of PTFE with the mechanical strength of the gasket material, GINSEAL PTFE envelope gasket provides the user with a gasket that can be used confidently with aggressive media which would attack many other materials.

Temperature:
Up to +250oC (depending on the gasket material used).

Applications:
Glass lined pipe systems, distillation columns and reactor vessels where
Non-contamination is essential.
